This Thermite Well, was designed by the OSS.
In 1942, the Metal end Thermite company, constructed this Thermite Well.
This in the inner ceramic liner.
Filling and cardboard is removed many years ago.

Very rare, and very hard to find OSS item.
Never seen one in collections or musea.
