Engineers/ SOE safety tin fuse. 1943.

Nice Safety tin, with the lable in very nice condition.
1942/ 1943 dated.
These tins were used by the Royal engineers, but also dropped by the SOE.
Originaly, these tins were filled with 48 feet of black safety fuse.
But this tin was stuffed wifh 19 plastic containers, filled with dets.
Around the little contaners, the remaining space was filled with saw dust.
Just to prevent detonating when, for instance, a dropped container hit the ground.
Saw dust is still in the tin.
The tin was filled this way, when I bought it many years ago.
The best tin in my collection.
